# Your Jupiter Predict profile: track, close and review positions

> Your Jupiter Predict profile: realized PnL, win rate, open positions and orders, history, closing a position, username, and following traders.

Your profile (`jup.ag/prediction/profile`) is the complete view of your Jupiter Predict activity: performance, open positions, pending orders, and history. Open it with **Profile** in the Predict navigation.

## What does my profile show?

* Realized PnL, as a chart over time or, with the **Calendar** toggle, as a calendar of your daily PnL.
* Win Rate and Volume.
* A period filter (All Time, 24h, 7d, 30d) that applies to these figures.
* Summary cards: **Portfolio value** with your number of open positions, **Max payout if right**, **Next event** (the next of your markets to start), and **Live now** (your markets trading right now).

Realized PnL, win rate, and volume come from snapshots taken every few hours, not calculated in real time, so a recent trade can take a few hours to appear in them.

Below the summary, three tabs list your activity:

* **Positions**: active positions, and outcomes you can claim or that were refunded. **All**, **Live** (markets trading now) and **Next 24h** (events starting within a day) filter the list.
* **Open Orders**: limit orders waiting to fill.
* **History**: completed trades, settlements, claims, and refunds.

Your positions also appear on each event page: a market where you hold a position shows it inline, and it refreshes after a claim or a close.

## What are profile badges?

The **Badges** section of your profile tracks two things, with a progress bar towards the next rank and a counter of badges collected:

* **Volume rank**: your lifetime buy volume on Predict, in ranks that currently run from Rookie (\$100) to Oracle (\$1m). Only buy fills of \$10 or more count; sells do not.
* **Buy streak**: the number of consecutive weeks, Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC, in which you bought at least \$50 (again in fills of \$10 or more). Ranks currently run from Spark (2 weeks) to Eternal (52 weeks).

The thresholds are shown in the section and can change. Unlocking a badge shows a toast, and badges can be shared from the profile. They are informational: they do not change fees, limits, or rewards.

## What do the position columns mean?

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| Event | The event and market name |
| Event Starts | When the event starts, or that it is live |
| Size | Number of contracts held |
| Value | Current estimated market value |
| Avg. Price | Average price paid per contract |
| Mark Price | Current reference price per contract |
| PNL | Unrealized profit or loss. The Exclude fees toggle shows it with or without trading fees |
| Payout if right | What the position pays if your side wins |

## How do I close a position before the market ends?

**1. Open Positions**

In your profile, find the position in the **Positions** tab.

**2. Click Close**

Click **Close** on the row. Choose how much to sell: a percentage (25%, 50%, 75%, or Max) or a custom dollar amount. Max sells the entire position regardless of price moves.

**3. Confirm and sign**

The app sells your contracts at the current bid. If the close executes, the proceeds, after any fees, are returned to your wallet.

If the position is priced at 90¢ or more, the app first asks **Hold until settlement?**: closing now pays the trading fee on the sale, while a position held to settlement is paid out without one. Choose **Close position** to sell anyway, or **Keep position**.

**Close All** exits all eligible positions at once.

Closes execute at the bid price, not the mid price, so the spread reduces what you receive. A close can fail if the market is closed, liquidity is too low, or the route is temporarily unavailable.

## When can I close a position?

| Market state | Can you close? | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| Open (Live) | Usually | The close sells at the current bid if liquidity is available |
| Closed | No | Trading has stopped. Wait for settlement |
| Settled (you won) | No | Claim the payout instead. See [Settlement and payouts](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/predict/settlement.md#how-do-i-claim-my-winnings) |
| Settled (refund) | No | The refund is processed on-chain and reflected in your profile |
| Settled (you lost) | No | The position is final and no action is needed |

Sports [ticket markets](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/predict/sports-markets.md#what-are-ticket-markets) cannot be closed at all and must be held to resolution.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Low liquidity can make a position difficult or impossible to close even while the market is open. If a position looks stuck for an unusually long time, raise a ticket via [Discord](https://discord.gg/jup).

## How do I set a username?

A trader who has set a username appears under it on their profile, on the leaderboard, on clan pages and clan trades, and in comments; otherwise they appear by truncated wallet address.

To set or change yours, open your profile and click the pencil icon next to your name or wallet address. A username takes 3 to 32 lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores, and must not already be taken. It is saved with a wallet message signature, not a transaction.

## How do I follow a trader?

* On another trader's profile, click **Follow**. The button then reads Following; hover it and click **Unfollow** to stop following.
* In the [Activity](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/predict/activity.md) feed, the follow icon on a trade follows the trader who made it.

Following is saved with a wallet message signature, not a transaction. Each profile shows its followers and following counts; click a count to see the list.

You can open any trader's profile from a [leaderboard](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/predict/leaderboard.md) row or from a profile card in comments. Each profile has its own address: `jup.ag/prediction/profile/<wallet address>`.
