Jupiter Predict fees depend on the market type. The current fee rates in the app take precedence over this page. Quoted amounts are estimates; final costs depend on the trades that fill and the fees that apply.

How are trading fees charged?

When buying or selling contracts:
  • Trading fees apply only to the part of your order that fills. An order with no fills has no trading fee.
  • For an open buy limit order, funds for the unfilled portion stay reserved. Unused funds are returned when the order closes.
  • On Polymarket markets, trades settle in JupUSD. If you pay with another token, it is swapped to JupUSD first. Swap costs and Solana network costs are separate from trading fees.
  • Claiming winnings from a Polymarket position has no additional trading fee. Fees already paid on filled trades are not refunded. Returning unused order funds also has no trading fee.
Arcade uses a different fee model, explained below.

What fee does each market type charge?

How are fees on Polymarket markets calculated?

For standard Jupiter trades on Polymarket-sourced markets, trading fees have two parts: Trade value is the number of contracts filled multiplied by their execution price, before fees. The builder fee is based on this value, not your profit or potential payout. A taker trade fills against an available order. A maker trade comes from an order that waits on the order book until another trader fills it. A limit order can fill immediately as a taker, so choosing a limit order does not guarantee zero platform fees. If part fills immediately and the rest fills later as a maker, each part is charged according to how it fills. Polymarket’s platform fee varies by market and execution price; see Polymarket’s fee schedule. Jupiter’s builder fee is added separately. For example, buying 100 contracts at $0.25 has a trade value of $25. The builder fee is $0.50, so the total cost is $25.50 plus any applicable platform fee. Selling contracts for $25 before fees returns $24.50 minus any applicable platform fee. These examples exclude separate swap and network costs.

How does the Arcade fee work?

Arcade rounds do not use contracts or an order book: everyone bets into a shared pool, and the winning side splits it. The fee is 1% of your payout, and your payout includes your own stake back: Payout = your stake ÷ the winning side’s pool × the total pool × 0.99 For example, $1 on Down against $1,000 on Up pays about $990 if Down wins. Losing bets pay no fee because they receive no payout, and stakes refunded from one-sided rounds or flat closes are returned in full with no fee. See Arcade.

Can other routes add fees?

Markets that use other routes can include additional or different fees: Degen markets may use a different route from standard Browse markets, so the Polymarket fee rules above do not necessarily apply to them. Check the quote for the specific market and route before you sign.

What Solana network costs apply?

Jupiter Predict runs on Solana, so you need a small SOL balance for:
  • Transaction fees, paid when you sign transactions.
  • Account rent, a temporary deposit some on-chain accounts require.
Rent is recovered automatically when eligible accounts are closed. These are standard Solana network costs, separate from Predict trading fees.
